Popularization of rehabilitation of disabled people idea and their active integration into all aspects of society life in public opinion. It also pertains to disabled people participation in building up "civil society". One of the important aspects in formation of above-mentioned is "accessibility" principal. Realization of this principal allows disabled, people with limited abilities, constituting the considerable part of population, to take real part in every sphere of public life and actively reform this principle according to universal humanitarian principles declared in appropriate UN, UNESCO and other world public organization documents.
The crux and the main peculiarity of the project offered is that disabled people, participants of the March do not set the task to break some sport records or to be included into "Guinness" book of records. It is just on the contrary, this action should not be sensational. The main objective, that we see in this event is that the disabled person gradually became a full-fledged society member in public consciousness.
In this respect it is presupposed to focus the March neither on overcoming some distances in record times nor on difficult road conditions of Russian expanses but on the following:
- to involve maximum possible special audience on the way of the March;
- all sorts of meetings and other public events involving foreign as well as regional organizations uniting disabled people;
- involving leading politicians, public activists, people of art and well known sportsmen into carrying out events on the way of the March;
- to attain maximum coverage in mass media;
- arrangement of traveling exposition-exhibition which will be exposed at every stopover on the way of the March;
- making up TV programs on the way of the March and making up documentary movie about the March;
- to carry out propaganda job on collecting donations and sponsor means on programs for disabled people rehabilitation.
