The March is dedicated to the 15th
anniversary of ARSDP (All Russian Society of Disabled People), European
year of People with disabilities, proclaimed by European Commission of
European Union. It is also dedicated to the 10th anniversary since the
date of acceptance by UNO General Assembly of "Standard rules of
securing equal opportunities for disabled people".
The March covering thousands of events in
republican, regional and provincial societies of ARSDP along its route
will allow to consolidate the efforts of regional societies of disabled
people throughout Russia.
Arriving to Moscow the March columns and its
participants will take part in ARSDP Youth forum and hand over Forum
Resolution and thousands of signatures in a special children and youth
address collected during "Letter to parents" action to
President of Russian Federation in August 2003 and to the European Union
Chairman in October, 2003.
